Call Hunter Library Reference Department (828) 227-7465 well in advance to schedule your visit with us. Please have alternate dates available in case your first choice is a heavily scheduled day at Hunter Library.
Teachers, please plan to accompany and assist your class with the resources, and please invite your school’s librarian to come, as he or she can best relate with your students’ informational needs. There will be additional users the day your class visits, so emphasize sharing of computers and resources.
In order to check out books, students must be 16, have a valid driver’s license and get an ID card as a North Carolina Resident or as a Friend of Hunter Library. The cost of a NC Resident’s card is $10 annually. The annual dues for Friends of Hunter Library are $20.
