The Jackson County website provides archived minutes of their meetings related to area development, growth, and improvement. Reports from the Health Department, Tax Assessor's Office, Sheriff's Office, Social Services, etc, are available here.

Jackson Co. Public Library keeps the County 4-H Budget. They have 5 years information in their collection.

Southwestern Community College and Hunter Library at Western Carolina University (WCU), have several editions of the County Development Information published by WCU. (WCU Ref Desk: G 81 9/2: C85. Editions available: 1997-2002; publication ceased in 2002.)
