Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility Requirements for first time students
 
In order to be eligible for federally funded financial aid, you must:
  1. Be accepted as a degree-seeking student
  2. Be enrolled in school for a minimum of six (6) semester hours
  3. Be a U. S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  4. Have never been convicted of the possession or sale of illegal drugs or meet the meet the requirements for those who have had a drug conviction in the past.

In order to remain eligible for federally funded financial aid, you must also:

  1. Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as mandated by federal regulation and interpreted by the school
  2. Not be in default on a federally funded student loan
  3. Not owe a refund on previously disbursed federal financial aid

International Students

As an international student, you don’t qualify for federal and state aid. But you should explore other funding options:
