The engineering technologist must be able to produce practical, workable results; install and operate technical systems; devise hardware from proven concepts; develop and produce products; service machines and systems; manage construction and production processes; and provide sales support for technical products and system.

Job titles include, applications engineer, systems engineer, quality control manager product testing and development engineer, and engineering project manager.

Engineering Technology Program
The Engineering Technology – Engineering Systems Program is for creative and innovative students who are applications-oriented. It builds on a background of applied mathematics, science and engineering technology. Emphasis is placed on the integration of theory and hands-on application in our state-of-the-art laboratories

In addition to the B.S. and M.S. degrees, the program offers a minor in telecommunications as well as certifications in engineering sales and distribution and occupational safety.
