- Acceptance to WCU. To apply go to http:/cowee.wcu.edu/admissions/undergrad1.html
- A current, unrestricted license to practice as an RN in North Carolina (includes Compact states).
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on all post-secondary courses.
- Completion of the School of Nursing course prerequisites and the WCU Liberal Studies requirements with grades of C or better.
- Accumulation of at least 65 semester non-nursing credit hours.
The WCU Liberal Studies requirement is waived if student has a previous baccalaureate degree or an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science from a North Carolina Community College. An Associate of Applied Science degree does not waive this requirement. Read more about the WCU School of Nursing and Liberal Studies requirements.

Deadlines for applying to the program are April 10th for the fall semester and September 10th for the spring semester.

Step Two: After you have completed your general application to WCU, you will need to complete the RN to BSN application.
Step Three: Next you will contact the Registrar of EVERY post-secondary school you have attended and request that an official copy of your transcript be mailed to EACH of the addresses below:
