Alumni Association
The Western Carolina University Alumni Association was formed in 1893. Today’s association strives to meet the following purposes:
- to further the ideals and aims of the university,
- to augment the revenues of the university,
- to strengthen its programs of teaching, research, and service, and
- to promote the general welfare of Western Carolina University through a strong alumni association.
Through the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund the association supports the university in its ongoing drive "to raise the bar" in academics and attract and retain high-achieving students.
