2008 Conference
Many thanks to all who registered for this year’s Dulcimer Week. Registration for 2008 is now closed.
CLASSES:
- Approximately 250 hours of class choices are offered over all.
- Mornings provide 6 choices of 13-hour playing classes on skill levels for new Beginner through Advanced players.
- Also offered are two specialized 13-hour courses – one on Traditional Music for Novice & up players, and a Bowed Dulcimer course for those with some experience in that style.
- Our Dulcimer Building course goes all day long Monday through Friday and requires no experience. (Non-playing spouses love it and bring home a beautiful new dulcimer!)
- Afternoons offer a tasty variety of over 80 hours of 2-hour classes to choose from. They feature different styles of music, playing styles, coaching, and special events.
- Evening jam session times provide introduction sessions on various instruments.
- Each dulcimer playing participant has the opportunity to take classes with 6 to 12 of the country’s favorite dulcimer player-instructors!
