Linda Gabel, an interior designer with an expertise in large-scale health care design projects, will make two presentations on the campus of Western Carolina University during an upcoming visit: “Health Care Design,” 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, April 21; and “Art in Health Care,” 12:35 to 1:50 Tuesday, April 22.
Both presentations are in Room 130 of the Fine and Performing Arts Center. They are free and open to the public.
Gabel, pictured, is a senior associate in the Columbus, Ohio, office of NBBJ, a worldwide architecture and design firm. She earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from Ohio State University in Columbus and is a founding member of the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers and a member of the International Interior Design Association. She has lectured and published widely.
During her visit, sponsored by the College of Fine and Performing Arts and the School of Art and Design, Gabel will spend time with design students in lectures, reviews and discussions.
