The Management Program at Western Carolina University is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required for successful professional careers in an ever-changing world of work. Our graduates pursue careers in manufacturing, human resources, banking, retailing, healthcare, not-for-profit organizations, insurance, real estate, and a host of other professions.
A major in international business will prepare you for employment in global organizations, including manufacturing and distribution, international banking, and government agencies. WCU’s international business curriculum is an interdisciplinary program that combines business training with global studies, including political science, geography, and modern foreign languages. International business graduates have a unique perspective of other cultures, languages, and economic systems.
At the graduate level, the department offers an online Master of Project Management (MPM) Program designed for you, the working professional who wants to advance your career. This program offers full-time project managers the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree on a part-time basis and also offers a graduate certificate in project management. The MPM program is accredited by the Project Management Institute.
